There’s no doubt that the older we get, the tougher life gets. Things weigh heavily on us day and night, and it’s easy to forget the little things. We have finite time on this infinite planet, and it doesn’t seem right to spend it disengaged from it.

We can be so consumed with what’s in front of us, or directly surrounding us, that we forget what’s important in the grand scheme of things. Things like being able to breathe, walk, hug, see, and laugh. These are the things that matter. We fixate on things we cannot control instead of moving with the universe and surrendering to its inexplicable and unpredictable path.

So, I hope you take a few minutes to fall deeply into these images, and allow your mind to get pulled into the vastness. To remember that we are insignificant to the universe, and our happiness is ours to claim. The weight of the world is not on our shoulders. We are nothing more than a speck in the sky.

I don’t think we are meant to stare at a computer, or run errands, or pay bills. I think we are here to look up at the sky and the stars. To sit in gratitude for the little time we have on earth, and appreciate the beautiful life we’ve been given.

After all, we are just spinning on a planet, in the middle of a solar system, in the middle of a galaxy, in the middle of the universe, in the middle of infinity. So enjoy your day, and enjoy your life.

Thank you!

Disconnecting is the best. We don’t do it enough.
